Depression can be debilitating. It can leave you feeling empty, lost, bored, and worst of all, hopeless. It can feel like something has sucked all the life out of you and you don't know how to get it back. After ruling out a medical basis for your feelings (I will ask you to visit with your doctor for this purpose), together we will explore ways to handle this difficult emotional experience. With compassionate tending, depression does not have to dominate your life.

Similarly, anxiety can make daily life really uncomfortable. When we are chronically anxious, we tend to shrink from life. Therapy can help you both develop skills and tools for dealing with anxiety, and help you reduce the amount of anxiety you experience.
